                    Pepper Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken Pieces       - ½ Kg.

Ginger                      - a Small Piece

Garlic                       - 8 Cloves

Pepper                      - 4 Teaspoons 

Cumin Seeds            - 1 Teaspoon

Oil                              - 100ml.

Turmeric Powder   - ¼ Teaspoon

Cinnamon                 - 1 (Small Piece)

Cloves                        - 4 Nos.

Salt                             - As Required

Fennel  Seeds           - ½ Teaspoon

Curry Leaves            - 2 Sprigs

Coriander Leaves    - 2 Tablespoons (Chopped)

Preparation:

- First, dry roast the four teaspoons of pepper and one teaspoon of cumin seeds in a low flame and grind it in a blender.

- Then, dry the ginger and garlic in a blender and form a paste.

- Heat the required oil in a vessel, and add the cinnamon and cloves along with some fennel seeds.

- Now, add the chicken pieces and the ground masala paste with two sprigs of curry leaves and add the turmeric powder to the mixture.

- Sauté them well. Add a cup of water and the required salt.

- when the chicken is tender, add the dry roasted and ground pepper and cumin powder to the chicken and switch off the flame. Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.

- The tasty pepper chicken is ready to serve.

You can try it as an ideal side dish with rasam and rice. It could also be a perfect side dish with chapati, too.
