Green Peas Potato Masala

                     Green Peas Potato Masala 

Ingredients:

Fresh Green Peas         - 250 gms.

Chopped Onions           - 1 Cup

Chopped Tomatoes      - ½ Cup

Potatoes (Boiled)           - 3 (Medium Sized)

Green Chillies                - 2 (Slit)

Ginger-Garlic Paste      - 1 Teaspoon 

Fennel Seeds                  - ½ Teaspoon 

Turmeric Powder         - ¼ Teaspoon 

Chilli Powder                 - 1½ Teaspoons

Coriander Powder        - 3 Teaspoons 

Curry Masala Powder  - 2 Teaspoons 

Curry Leaves                  - 1 Sprig

Coriander Leaves          - 4 Tablespoons 

Salt                                   - As Required 

Oil                                    - As Required 


Preparation:

- Take a pan and add the required oil. Add the fennel seeds and curry leaves.

- Then, add the chopped onions and the slit green chillies and then add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté it for sometime until the raw smell goes.

- Now, add the chopped tomatoes and add salt, wait until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.

- Then, add the coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, and curry masala powder one by one.

- Later, add the fresh green peas and sauté it well until the masala gets coated with the peas.

- Cut the boiled potatoes into small cubes and add it with the green peas masala. Pour half a cup of water to the mixture.

- Allow the green peas to cook for around ten minutes by stirring occasionally. Pour another half a cup of water, is needed.

- Once, the green peas are cooked well, switch off the flame. Garnish it with the chopped coriander leaves.

- This delicious 'green peas potato masala' can be served with rice, roti or chapati.
