Black Chickpeas Dosa:
Ingredients:
Black Chickpeas - 200gms. (Soaked Overnight)
Raw Rice - 200gms. (Soaked)
Ginger - 1 inch piece (Peeled)
Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - As Required
Water - As Required
Green Chillies - 4 Nos.
Preparation:
- Soak the black chickpeas overnight (or) for eight hours.
- Take a blender and add half the amount of the soaked black chickpeas, half of the raw rice, two green chillies, the one inch ginger piece, one teaspoon of the cumin seeds and the required salt and half a cup of water and blend the given ingredients.
- Repeat the process of blending the second half of the above mentioned ingredients in the blender for the second time.
- Once done, take a vessel and add the blended ingredients and allow it to ferment for around six to eight hours.
- When the batter is fermented, take a dosa tawa and grease it with oil. Now, take the required batter and spread it to a thin dosa. Likewise, make as many dosas as you wish.
- These 'Black Chickpeas Dosas' can be served well with 'Onion or Tomato Chutney' which are extremely healthy and wholesome.
